Research with NVivo Qualitative Analysis Software

In order to organize and cross-reference thousands of sources for my academic research, I began using NVivo qualitative analysis software in 2015.  NVivo can store many different types of sources (Word documents, PDFs, images, etc.) in one location, lets researchers organize data any way they want, and makes it possible to efficiently cross-reference the same topic across multiple sources. NVivo can also run complex queries to quickly pinpoint relevant source material.

To share information about this resource, I have given presentations on NVivo and its functionalities at the UW-Madison Digital Humanities Research Network in 2017 and at a JCOTA Digital Teaching Workshop at UW-Madison in 2018 to make sure other researchers are familiar with this tool.
